<p>Every literary work must have value in it. An in-depth analysis is required to capture and understand the value. This article analyze ethical philosophy matters short story “God Sees Truth, but Waits” by Leo Tolstoy (1828–1910)—a writer philosopher from Russia. departs a qualitative study using interpretation methods. finds that story’s philosophical message relates God’s plan for His creation; God knows truth about what would happen creation waits best time show wisdom. The values Aksionov owns include submission, truth, justice, forgiveness. These four lived on after his wound. He understands wounds are God's way of getting him closer Him making better human being.</p>
